The Hilton Garden Inn Lucknow is a 1.25-acre, 2.7-lakh-sq-ft hospitality development for Hilton, ongoing between 2013 and 2017 (listed status: Ongoing). The project brings an internationally branded mid-to-upscale hotel to Lucknow, a city balancing significant heritage tourism with growing business travel demand as a state capital. The design strategy would combine Hilton's global brand standards for guestrooms, meeting facilities, and public spaces with architectural cues responsive to Lucknow's Awadhi heritage and urban context, positioning the hotel to serve both business and heritage-tourism guests. Efficient site planning on a relatively compact 1.25-acre urban plot required careful stacking of guestroom floors above a more spacious podium of public and meeting facilities.
