Juniper Guwahati is a hospitality development on a 73,000-sq-ft site with 3.7-lakh-sq-ft of built-up area, delivered for Juniper Hotels in Guwahati, ongoing since 2025. As part of Juniper Hotels' portfolio (a major operator of internationally branded hotels in India, often in partnership with Hyatt), the project extends organised, branded hospitality infrastructure into India's Northeast, a region with growing business and leisure travel demand. The design strategy balances brand-standard guestroom and public-space planning with a design language responsive to Assam's climate and regional architectural character, using shading, ventilation, and material choices suited to the region's humid climate. Vertical planning on a relatively compact site required efficient guestroom-floor stacking above a well-resolved arrival and public-space podium. As an ongoing project, it reflects the practice's expanding hospitality footprint beyond South India into emerging Northeastern markets for a leading national hotel operator.
