The Chennai FTWZ Logistics Park is a 100-acre masterplan developed for Venkateshwara Coke & Power Pvt. Ltd. in Chennai, currently at schematic design completion stage. Structured as a Free Trade Warehousing Zone (FTWZ), the masterplan supports bonded storage, customs-cleared logistics, and export-import trade facilitation, requiring careful zoning between secure bonded areas, general warehousing, and administrative/customs infrastructure. The design strategy emphasises segregated security zones, efficient heavy-vehicle and container circulation, and infrastructure sized to support high-throughput international trade logistics. Landscape and internal road networks are planned to accommodate both scale and the regulatory complexity of an FTWZ designation. As the third of the practice's major logistics-park masterplans (alongside Talegaon and Bhiwandi), this project extends the firm's industrial planning portfolio into specialised trade-zone infrastructure, reflecting India's growing investment in export-oriented logistics and warehousing capacity.
