Nayara Township is a 220-acre integrated residential township developed for Nayara Energy at Vadinar, Gujarat, in support of the company's refinery and port operations. Spanning roughly 2 million sq ft of built-up area, the masterplan organises staff and executive housing, community facilities, recreation grounds, and support infrastructure within a coastal industrial context. The design strategy balances the operational demands of a large energy campus with a liveable residential environment, using zoning, internal road hierarchy, and landscape buffers to separate community life from industrial activity. Climate-responsive planning addresses the region's hot, arid conditions through orientation, shading, and green corridors. As an ongoing, long-running masterplan (since 2014), the project reflects sustained collaboration with an industrial client on township-scale urban design, and demonstrates capability in planning self-sufficient communities that serve a captive workforce in a remote, resource-driven location.
