Ozone Urbana is a 60-acre, 4-million-sq-ft integrated township masterplan developed for Ozone Group in Bengaluru from 2013, combining residential neighbourhoods with supporting commercial, retail, and amenity infrastructure at a scale approaching a self-contained urban quarter. The masterplan strategy organised the large land parcel into distinct residential clusters served by a central spine of retail, community, and recreational facilities, with landscape and open space woven through as an organising framework rather than a residual element. Structured phasing allowed staged delivery of residential blocks alongside supporting infrastructure. The project's status reflects two distinct engagements over time — an early-stage concept that did not proceed, and a later, ongoing phase of the same township — illustrating how large integrated township projects in India often evolve through multiple planning cycles as market conditions, ownership structures, and regulatory frameworks shift before implementation is finally achieved.
